In an ACB, the arc is interrupted by directing a large-velocity blast of compressed air onto the arc zone. The significant-pace air cools and sweeps away the ionized gases, facilitating arc extinction.  The air blast blows absent the ionized gases and arcing solutions, leading to arc extingu
